About FleetProfit
Many trucking decisions are made on gross freight: the rate looks good, the truck goes. FleetProfit is built to answer the harder questions before the truck leaves:
- What does this trip actually earn? Fuel for the whole cycle, including the empty return, tolls, driver costs, wear and a fair share of fixed costs.
- What must I charge? The break-even freight rate, and the rate that really reaches your target margin.
- Does a month of this work? How many trips physically fit, and whether they cover fixed costs, the EMI and the owner's draw.
How it calculates
Every result shows the arithmetic that produced it, line by line. FleetProfit keeps three numbers apart that are often confused: contribution (what a trip adds), operating profit (after fixed costs and depreciation) and cash (after the EMI). An EMI is a loan repayment, not an expense, and depreciation is not cash; the calculator treats them that way.
It invents nothing. Diesel prices, distances, tolls and freight rates are figures you enter. Anything derived from them is labelled as an estimate.
Your data
You can use FleetProfit without an account; your work then stays in your own browser. If you sign in with Google, your workspace is saved to your account and only you can see it. The database itself enforces this. You can delete your account and everything in it at any time from Settings. Read the privacy policy.
What it is not
FleetProfit is a planning tool. Its figures are estimates from your own inputs, not financial, tax or legal advice. It does not do GST e-invoicing or e-way bills.
